Thanksgiving

by Sarah on November 25, 2009

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I have many things to be thankful for this year. I would like to take a moment here to give special thanks for something that was new this year, something that enhanced my career, inspired creative and critical thinking about designed experiences, and that contributed to the birth of this blog—the UX Book Club.

The Los Angeles UX Book Club’s one-year anniversary is in January, and I plan to write then about my highlights from the first year of meetings. In honor of the global movement’s first birthday, Johnny Holland posted an article today by Steve Baty, the instigator of UX Book Club. I am quoted in the article, and I think Steve does a great job describing what I love about UX Book Club and the reasons the clubs have been so widely and enthusiastically embraced.

Here is the article for your enjoyment: UX Book Club – One Year On

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
